Adjacent to the Plover Cove Reservoir, Bradbury Jockey Club Youth Hostel is best destination for learning about the introduction of astrophotography! Reaching the main dim in a few minutes, it was the perfect place for night sky and star photography workshop where we will visit the darkest night sky and most photogenic location in Tai Po. You will receive professional photography instruction, with all the camera settings and shooting techniques, to capture the magic moment of starry night.

Date: 22 – 23 April 2018 (Sunday to Monday)
Hostel: Bradbury Jockey Club Youth Hostel (Tai Mei Tuk, Tai Po)
Check-in: 3:00pm, 22 April 2018
Check-out: 12noon, 23 April 2018
Observation Period 10:30pm, 22 April – 2:00am, 23 April
Fee: Member Price – HKD250 (for 1 person at dormitory bed) or HKD590 (for 2 person at double room)
Non-member Price – HKD280 (for 1 person at dormitory bed) or HKD650 (for 2 person at double room)
A set of BBQ dinner per guest is included
Remarks: Please prepare your personal digital SLR camera,  memory card, battery and tripod

Instructor

Henry Lo has been over 250 cities in near 60 countries around the world to pursue his dream and interest in photography. Apart from sharing his amazing photos and on various magazines, newspaper and online forum, he has been invited by different media and travelling agencies to share his travelling experiences. He established his Facebook page @travel.foto since 2012, spreading positive messages through travel and photography, and it has now become a popular Facebook page with more than 80K followers from Hong Kong, Mainland, Taiwan, Malaysia, Australia and Singapore.

  2. Each member can bring a maximum of three non-members to enjoy the offer. Guests can apply for YHA membership on site.
