CHINESE NEW YEAR ACTIVITY OF YHA MEI HO HOUSE YOUTH HOSTEL:
“WELCOMING THE YEAR OF THE DOG”

The Chinese New Year Activity: “Welcoming the Year of the Dog” held by Mei Ho House Alumni Network was completed on 11 February 2018 (Sunday). We cordially invited two Chinese Calligraphy artists – Mr. Wong Ying Sheung and Mr. King Lau to demonstrate Chinese Calligraphy. The participants could bring it home as decoration.

A DIY corner was also set up for the participants to write Fai Chun by themselves, and to use the handmade stamps to design their own red packets.  We are honored to have Origami Artist – Mr. Wong Tai Chung to teach us about Origami. The General Manager of YHA Mei Ho House Youth Hostel – Mr. Jude Mendes demonstrated as God of Fortune to share the red packets to the guests. All the participants enjoyed a happy weekend.
