HONG KONG YOUTH HOSTELS ASSOCIATION: 2017 SPRING DINNER
On 23 February 2017, over 170 volunteers, guests and HKYHA staff gathered for the annual Spring Dinner to share the joy and blessings in the past year and to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
At the dinner, our Chairman and Chief Executive presented the Long Service Awards to express appreciation and recognition to long-serving staff members whose dedication and hard work have contributed to HKYHA over the years.
Our Chairman and Chief Executive also expressed their great gratitude and thanks to all the volunteer communities who have walked with HKYHA over the years. We would like to give a big hand to them including HKFS Outdoor Activity Group, Mei Ho House Alumni Network, Ngong Ping Charity Walk Cooperating Organisations, PS250 Scooter HK and YHA Volunteer Group. They have been working enthusiastically on weeding out grass around the countryside hostels, being the docent to operate daily guided tours, protecting and conserving the valuable history of Mei Ho House, co-organising the annual charity walk, repairing facilities in the hostels, and helping in different activities in hostels.
The party was made even more delighted with the bingo game and singing contest. It allowed volunteers and staffs to spread their cheer and happiness.
At the end of the Spring Dinner, our Chief Executive spread the blessings to volunteers and staff and wished for a bright future in the coming 45th anniversary of HKYHA.
