MEI HO HOUSE ALUMNI NETWORK ACTIVITY:
“BY ALL MEANS: ARTS ARE FOR EVERYONE” ACCESSIBILITY WORKSHOP
“By All Means: Arts are for Everyone” Accessibility Workshop was successfully held on 4th November, 2017!
The workshop was cooperated between Mei Ho House Alumni Network and Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong. The workshop aimed to let the participants learned how to get along and communicate with people with different abilities.
The workshop speaker Mr. Edmond Chan, Arts Accessibility Manager from Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong introduced the meaning of “By All Means: Arts are for Everyone” and how we could interact with people with different abilities.
Participants were learning how to communicate with and help the people with different abilities.
The participants were experiencing the daily lives of people with different abilities.
The participants learned different communication skills through some interactive games.
At last some demonstration was done in the Heritage of Mei Ho House (the Museum) to show the participants how the guided tour could be presented to people with different abilities.
