No. To help visitors get to know more about YHA Mei Ho House Youth Hostel in various aspects and have a better understanding of the revitalized historic building, our guided tour itinerary includes the Front Courtyard, G/F and 1/F Exhibition Areas, hostel rooms (subject to availability), facilities and Back Courtyard.

No advance booking is required. Please register at the main entrance of the HMHH 15 minutes before the tour begins.

Groups of 15 people or fewer do not need to book a visit. You are recommended to come during the morning when the museum is less crowded. Groups of 16 people or more are required to apply for a visit in advance. For more details, please refer to Group Visit or Guided Tour Service.

We do not recommend you to do so. Usually, a walk-in group has to queue for more than 60 minutes and not a whole group is allowed to enter HMHH at one time (due to the limited capacity). Conversely, successfully reserved group could enjoy:

-　Safety and Comfort
-　No rush. The whole group can enjoy plenty of visiting time

A limit on visitor capacity has been set in order to conform to fire safety standards inside HMHH, as well as to provide an enjoyable visiting environment. Therefore, we do not accept Group Visit or Group Guided Tour Service of groups with more than 30 people.

Parking lots are not available at YHA Mei Ho House Youth Hostel. Coaches (24 seats or less) are allowed to pick up or drop off visitors at the hostel main entrance. You are recommended to park the car in the Shek Kip Mei Estate car park which is located at Woh Chai Street, about a 3-minute walk from Mei Ho House.
